Welcome all, to the official blog of Yusuf Robinson, otherwise known as Dr. Suf (pronounced “Soof”).
Dr. Suf has been a natural “social scientist” from a young age. In time, he put pen to paper, divulging his assessment of the world around him. Since then, his work has developed a style composed of clever rhyming schemes and vivid themes for the mind to wonder, while the heart ponders.
Perhaps you will notice his own special rhythm, the common thread in all his poems. He lives and breathes Islam, and in his poetry it shows.
Most suitable to be vocalized in public poetry readings, Dr. Suf’s poetry addresses the ills of society, the realities of this and the life to come, and the love from one to another…It is on this note that his blog has lovingly been designed, by his biggest fan, as a platform for his work both old and new.
